Believe it or not, there is some "studying" happening abroad! While this will probably be my most boring post yet, a quick update on my classes for those who are curious...
Marketing for Food Tourism: This class is basically as cool as it sounds. We go once a week on a trip to eat lunch around Rome, and we're learning about the foods in different areas of Europe. The final project is to create a guide on a food item in Rome, and I got gelato (wooo!!!). As an added bonus, the professor is American and teaches at Drexel.
Advertising Strategy: Pretty basic, but the professor is really, really energetic and very interesting!
Corporate Finance: I have to take this class for the business school, and it's supposed to be easier here. He gives us some detail about finance in Italy which is cool, but otherwise it's pretty boring.
Sociology of Urban Spaces: Rome: This class is really interesting and is counting for my sociology minor–we talk about the city of Rome and what factors come into play. It only meets once a week and most of those are field trips to different parts of the city to learn about them, which sounds like a great way to get around! The professor also knows literally everything there is to know about Rome. My favorite trip–the Roman aqueducts outside of the city, I can't wait for that one!
Also–studying isn't so bad when this is the view of Rome from your classroom!
