Anybody who follows me on Instagram (or even on Facebook) has probably realized that this blog is about three weeks behind. This is my best effort to catch up!!!!
A few weeks ago I spent the weekend in Rome, doing some of the things that I haven't had time to do yet.

These photos are from the top of the Castle Saint Angelo, which is a medieval fortress in Rome. It's was originally Hadrian's Tomb, but then became the Vatican's castle and is connected through underground tunnels to the Vatican in times of attack. The entire thing is a circle, and has a fantastic view of Rome from the top! After you get past the excessive amount of stairs, it really is fun!
On Sunday, Alex and I took a Biz Club trip to Marino for the Marino Wine Festival. Marino is a small city on a hill an hour out of Rome that has been throwing a wine festival on the first Sunday of October, that includes a carnival, parade, and fountains flowing with wine, since 1925. There was also amazing street food and it was a great atmosphere to hang out in a medieval town with some new friends from school! It was mostly Italians from various areas and I felt VERY local!
I promise the rest of my posts are coming!
Ciao,
